Recently, someone suggested I write a blog about texting. Texting is a blessing and a curse as I see it. Within two seconds and two words you can send anyone anything, anywhere. In fact, with the new text-speak, what used to take ten letters to spell now takes just 2.

Texting is efficient, but not a means of communication. No matter how good of a writer or communicator is typing on those tiny keys of the cellular keypad, the only correct tone those 164 characters can convey, is a dial tone. Wait, cell phones killed the dial tone.
