Supporting Community through Education about Sexual Assault
End Violence Together with INCASA
Indiana Coalition Against Sexual Assault Director Anita Carpenter is taking her message to the streets of Indiana. Sexual assault and domestic abuse hurt an entire community, and it will take all of us to help stop this silent killer. For victims of sexual assault, access to appropriate resources and treatment are key to recovery. Carpenter says INCASA supports victims statewide who need access to resources. INCASA is a clearinghouse of sorts, helping victims, families and entire Indiana communities heal from tragedies relating to sexual violence. INCASA provides a support network throughout the state, helping victims as well as educating Legislators. The ultimate goal of INCASA is to stop sexual violence by encouraging collaboration among multiple, local resources. INCASA encourages ongoing education and training in handling situations involving all types of sexual assault.
